Rotations: Act Coaching (a.k.a. the Icing on the Cake)

Do you ever feel stuck or find yourself in a creative rut? Do you ever make something and know it’s almost there but aren’t sure what it needs? You’re not alone! Join us as we host FALL’s renowned Artistic Director, Rebekah Hampton Barger, for an intimate afternoon of creative inspiration and constructive feedback. Rebekah will kick off the workshop with a choreographed phrase that utilizes both earth and aerial movements. It is designed to demonstrate clear, practical tools that any artist can use to enhance their performance presence. Participants can then share an individual phrase – grounded, aerial, or both! In a supportive and constructive environment, participants will receive feedback and coaching from Rebekah and each other, gaining valuable insights into their work. This workshop is designed for intermediate+ aerialists or dancers ages 13 and over. Please keep movement phrases under 30 seconds for grounded or 60 seconds for aerial. For those with aerial phrases, we will have Silks, 36” and 37” inch Hoops, and Slings. Please email info@satellitedance.com if you are bringing your apparatus or have rigging questions. All participants are required to review our participation guidelines and sign a waiver.
